“Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise.”

Deuteronomy 6:6-7

Love in the family

We may argue often between brothers and sisters when we do not notice that we actually complement each other, that one forms the true half of the other. We may have differences of opinion and very different ways of seeing life, however we will always be connected by a greater love: the love of the family. Thanks to our parents we have learned Christian values, the most accurate examples of good character as well as bad character. They were the ones who took us every Sunday to Holy Mass to celebrate the love of God the Father. Also, those who have helped us to get up when we believe that we have failed and do not have the strength to continue.

Our family is the cornerstone of all things, alongside God, they will be those who give us advice and accept us when we find ourselves lost in confusion. They will celebrate our successes with us and reprimand our mistakes. They will not do it in a cruel way, but in a way that we will be able to understand that our actions have consequences and that these will not always be pleasant. My father has taught me that there is no greater love than that of Christ, who gave His life for all of us to absolve us of all sin.
