Verses that Transmit Peace and Remove Anxiety

One of the most distressing feelings we can experience is anxiety. States of permanent distress are actually very harmful to our physical and spiritual health.

How do we deal with the worries and stress in our lives?

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

On the arduous path of achieving our personal goals, we encounter situations or obstacles that can paralyze us, leaving us confused, not knowing which direction to take or which are the best decisions to make.

This emotional conglomerate produces states of anguish and worry that can lead us to deviate from the objectives we have set ourselves because we feel that we cannot face that burden, making us quickly abandon, giving up the game.

We must understand that it is never too late to rise up in Christ, that He was always by our side, sustaining us through His perfect Word, giving us the necessary encouragement so that we can live without fear and with courage.

The Lord urges us to overcome the difficulties of his hand to fulfill the purposes he has designed for our existence.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

To dispel the anguish that Peace of Spirit takes from us, we could start by asking ourselves: What things can we identify as causes of our loss of harmony?

What states or sensations are produced by the problems we have been able to detect?

But we must also recognize that there are everyday problems that, while exhausting, are easily solved. Let us try to solve these setbacks with joy and patience as they are life itself. Peace does not mean an uncomplicated existence. Every day we face different situations and many times the results are not what we expected.

When anxiety becomes overwhelming and does not allow us to carry out our activities normally, it is time to understand that strength and the ability to endure afflictions come from Him.

Peace is having the conviction and assurance that we have given the control of our lives to the Lord. By placing our Faith in Him, we obtain Peace in the midst of life's conflicts.

“I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears.” Psalms 34:4

Let us keep in mind that the Lord's will is always Perfect and, for that reason, we must change our anxiety into Commitment and Faith in our Heavenly Father.

When we take on the real dimension of what it means to be a child of God, we can stay balanced and not go into despair.

Let us not be ashamed to give you our heaviest burdens and our deepest anxieties.

The Highest has taught us that we can rest assured that He will do what He thinks is best for our lives.

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” Psalms 34:18

Surely there will be many times when we will have to go through painful, difficult moments, where we will have the feeling that there is no way out.

The Word of God our Father exhorts us to understand that, even in the midst of the most demanding trails, He will keep in complete Peace all who trust in His Eternal Grace.

Realizing that we have the most solid Power of the universe on our side: the Love of our Almighty Father that sustains and guides us on the path of Salvation.
