6 tips to stay in Christ in difficult times

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love.” Ephesians 3:16-17

Read His word. It is already widely known that the Holy Bible is a compendium that encompasses all situations of life that we can face, and then it is a practical guide that enlightens us when it comes to knowing not only how to act in a given problem, but also advice friend about how to cope with an inevitable situation that we have to go through.


And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6

Take refuge in prayer. Many times we have heard about the power of prayer, but this time we will mention other benefits when it comes to prayer. Praying regularly gives us spiritual peace and tranquility of heart, both virtues that are highly necessary when passing through a complicated circumstance. Prayer also brings us closer to God, which makes us open our hearts to the best confidant we could count on.


“You love him despite not having seen him; and although they do not see him now, they believe in him and rejoice with indescribable and glorious joy, for they are obtaining the goal of their Faith, which is their salvation.” Peter 1:8-9

Go to your temple. There you will surely experience a feeling of belonging that will give you the peace you need at the time you need it, you should see your visit to the temple as a hug to the soul, a caress to your heart in your second home. You should also know that no matter how long you have not visited your temple, it will always have its doors open for you if you really want to be there.

Surround yourself with loved ones. They can be the best and safest support in the times when you need it most. Surrounding yourself with the people who love you relieves the weight you carry in your soul, and in that way, the sorrows are shared among those who love you, because that is also a way to remain in the Lord. See those who matter to you as a great family of God, without separating friendships, family members or co-workers, remember that we are all children of God.


“You, on the other hand, man of God, flee from all that, and strive to follow justice, pity, Faith, love, perseverance and humility.” Timothy 6:11

Cultivate your Faith. Because that is the basic pillar that will keep you clinging to God when you need it most. It is therefore very important to remember that if you have Faith in Christ, everything will be much easier for you, since that way you entrust your soul to the Blessed Sacrament and you are certain that His plan will include nothing more and nothing less than only the best for you, which you must remember that does not mean that there will be no obstacles in your path.

“If I have the gift of prophecy and understand all the mysteries and possess all knowledge, and if I have a Faith that manages to move mountains, but I lack love, I am nothing.” Corinthians 13: 2

Have full confidence in the Lord. Because we all know that he endowed us with a plan for our life, a mission that we must complete so that we are closer to him in this way and thus obtain the benefit of the entrance to paradise, to eternal life. This concept is clinging to that of Faith, since full trust in the Lord greatly feeds our Faith.
