“Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son". 1 John 5:10
Many times we will find ourselves immersed in a situation where we will be listening to a story or receiving information that comes from a story told by someone we do not know.
How much can we believe about the information contained in that story? What sensations originate in our being when we do not know the sender of that message? Let's imagine that it turns out to be a person we know little or hardly know at all.
How can we build trust at that very moment, about someone who wants to inform us or who seeks to persuade us about a situation.
"As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him." Psalm 18:30
This is one of the most common and traumatic experiences we have in life. Based solely on the words or testimonies of another, trying to build trust or a bond is a difficult task.
Either because of bad experiences in the past that built a layer or emotional defense against lies or mistreatment or simply, a natural distrust that exists between human beings. Because of this there is an amazing capacity to respond to Faith and the Holy Spirit.
There is no one explanation that describes the power and mercy of our Heavenly Father, but it is His light that breaks down walls of distrust. It is his love that penetrates the hearts of the most distrustful. It was the sacrifice of Jesus Christ that came to show us on earth the value of his Word.
"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." Proverbs 4:23
What is the implication then that God is more trustworthy than the people around us? Is He more worthy of our trust and His Word than our peers?
Of course then we must be able to trust the word of those around us who share the Faith. Obviously that we are faithful followers of God, that we do not question any of His teachings, as we place our Faith in the Holy Spirit and dedicate ourselves to follow His commandments and guidance to fulfill the divine mission. We place our hands together and pray to remember that He is there listening to our prayers, accompanying our journey and our passage through life. Providing us with all kinds of trials to help us cope with our limited but necessary learning. His help and enlightenment will appear in various forms and it will depend on each one of us and our ability to recognize, learn and incorporate the Holy Spirit.

The trust we must build and transfer in one another is the same trust we already possess with our Heavenly Father. It emanates from our heart since all that has been sown there from time immemorial contribute to extend the bonds of trust. Past experiences, as well as the knowledge acquired, the education received and the upbringing we received from our parents make up our entire belief system, where the fundamental base is sustained by the Holy Spirit and our Faith in God.
