Taking Examples in Life

Some valuable examples around us can guide our path. Dive into the following article to understand how you want to walk the path of your life.

“Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.”Deuteronomy 4:39

In every phase of our lives and in every year we live, the Lord has valuable lessons to teach us. Each instant offers us a new inspiration and a unique learning that emanates solely from the divine wisdom of the Heavenly Father. Throughout different scenarios and moments on our spiritual path, people often respond in similar ways.

Initially, we reflect on the needs to be addressed, then we work on developing ideas or plans to achieve those goals. We observe the results, and finally, we evaluate all that has happened, drawing lessons that allow us to close one chapter and open a new one.

“I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn[c] of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:1-2

However, if we remain static, silent and immobile, we will never be able to enjoy new stages of spiritual growth. It is crucial to take time to reflect, to know our own nature and to connect more deeply with the Holy Spirit.

If we can find calm, we can enjoy moments of introspection and prayer. By dedicating quality time to prayer and reading the Bible, we help ourselves to make fundamental decisions for our future.

It is important to meditate in the midst of silence. What thoughts predominate in our minds? What ideas need to be contemplated in silence? Which ones require a maturation process before they emerge renewed and bright?

“If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.” 1 John 1:6

If we feel it is the right time for introspection, let's try to connect with rest. Reconnecting with ourselves will help us balance our senses and emotions. Let us allow ourselves to listen more attentively, paying more attention to our inner voice than to external distractions.

Let us take advantage of the calm and serenity of silence to nourish our spirit. When we experience moments of emotional unrest, let us pay attention to the signs and people around us. Let us not demand too much of ourselves and seek the support of those who know us best to regain our inner peace.

Let us learn to draw inspiration from stories and teachings that remind us of Jesus and God. Let us have meaningful conversations with friends, family and members of our faith community. They can serve as instruments of the Holy Spirit, offering us comfort, guidance and wisdom.

“The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity.” Proverbs 11:3

Let us trust in the abilities God has given us as His sons and daughters. He hears us, guides us and helps us to grow each day. We place our trust in his love and in his transforming power in our lives.

The community of believers also plays a fundamental role in our spiritual growth. By sharing our experiences and experiences with other brothers and sisters in faith, we strengthen our connection with God and find mutual support on life's journey.

It is essential to remember that the spiritual journey is not a straight line nor is it free of obstacles. There will be times of doubt, uncertainty and inner struggle. However, in those moments we must hold on to our faith and trust that God is working in our lives in ways we often do not understand. His plan for us is perfect, and though it may be difficult, we find comfort in His love and His promise to be with us always.
