The right mix to face your day

Starting your day in a different way it is often only a matter of attitude when faced with the things we experience. He are some brief tips to reach the Lord every morning.

“Provided that you continue securely established and steadfast in the faith, without shifting from the hope promised by the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven. I, Paul, became a servant of this gospel.” Colossians 1:23

Remember to love. Above all things do it with love, because that is God's will and because we really don't know anything until we know the healing power of love. Start by reminding everyone in your family how important they are to you.

“Some take pride in chariots, and some in horses, but our pride is in the name of the Lord our God. They will collapse and fall, but we shall rise and stand upright.” Psalms 20:7-8

Only positive feelings. It is important not to allow our spirit to be permeable to negative feelings. At times we cannot avoid getting caught up in a negative situation, we just need to remain strong in Christ and reply with positive feelings and love.

“Now to God who is able to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages” Romans 16:25

Energize yourself with the power of prayer. Since we have already spoken of the power of love, we are obligated to speak of the power of prayer as well, which is none other than our hearts expression when we truly find ourselves living our lives in Christ, following His path, and allowing Him to guide our path to paradise.

“Only, live your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that, whether I come and see you or am absent and hear about you, I will know that you are standing firm in one spirit, striving side by side with one mind for the faith of the gospel.” Philippians 1:27

Take that weight off yourself and forgive more often. When you say your prayers remember the part about "as we forgive those who trespass against us" and search your heart to see if there is someone you truly need to forgive, some old tiff that you barely even remember clearly. Include this practice daily and you will see how good it feels.

“Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you. He is always wrestling in his prayers on your behalf, so that you may stand mature and fully assured in everything that God wills.” Colossians 4:12

Start your day with a good deed. This must be the last step in these exercises and the first that you will do when you leave home. Surely there are several opportunities to do a good deed in your daily activities; a selfless act that through faith will multiply and create an expanding wave of love that will be difficult to stop. At the same time, we receive a boost of happiness at helping a brother or sister that needs it, a perfect recipe to begin your day in Christ.
