The Peace of your Inner Self

Searching daily for ways to preserve your peace and vital energy. Explore the following verses in order to feel closer to spiritual balance.

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18

In the constant going about of our lives, we come across challenges and obstacles that can alter our tranquility and leave us at the crossroads, not knowing which path to choose or what decisions to make. This emotional whirlwind can generate anxiety and worry, leading us to stray from our goals because we feel the burden is too heavy, and thus give up before we even try.

It is vital to remember that it is never too late to renew ourselves in the faith of Christ, who is always at our side, sustaining us with His perfect Word and encouraging us to face the world with courage and confidence.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand..." Isaiah 41:10

The Lord calls us to overcome adversity hand in hand with Him, to fulfill the purposes He has for our lives.

To dispel the restlessness that threatens to steal our inner peace, it is useful to ask ourselves: What are the causes of this imbalance? What emotions or sensations emerge in the face of the challenges we face?

It is important to recognize that while some problems are everyday and relatively easy to solve, others may seem overwhelming. Facing these setbacks with patience and serenity is an integral part of life. Peace does not mean the absence of difficulties, but finding peace in the midst of them.

"I sought the Lord, and he answered me; he delivered me from all my fears." Psalms 34:4

When anxiety overwhelms us and affects our ability to carry out our responsibilities, it is time to remember that the strength to resist comes from God.

True peace is the assurance that we have entrusted our lives to the Lord. By placing our faith in Him, we gain a peace that transcends circumstances.

It is essential to understand that God's will is perfect, and thus, to replace our anxiety with faith and commitment in our heavenly Father. When we fully understand our identity as sons and daughters of God, we can maintain our balance and avoid falling into despair.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

We should not be ashamed to give God our deepest concerns and heaviest burdens. He invites us to trust Him to work out what is best for our lives.

Inevitably, there will be times when we will face painful, challenging trials, and there will seem to be no escape.

At these times, God's Word reminds us that even in the most difficult trials, He will keep those who trust in His eternal grace in complete peace.

Awareness of the powerful support we have at our side, the love of our Almighty Father, gives us security and guides us along the path of salvation.
