The Path is Full of Truths

It is not about balancing a scale of good works to balance our sins. Nor is it about having a place with Spiritual trophies.

If there is something wonderful about the relationship with Faith and the Holy Spirit is that each one feels it in a unique way and it is God who will ultimately judge our feelings and His presence in our heart.

"But in your great mercy you did not put an end to them or abandon them, for you are a gracious and merciful God." Nehemiah 9:31

We, the people who inhabit planet Earth, were created by the Lord as social beings. With a need to produce, and to establish links. To build certain connections with the environment, as well as to be able to develop, deepening their spirit.

It is prudent when engaging in a conversation or dialogue to listen to the person who is questioning us.

But in addition to being cordial, we must interact in an articulate way, immersed in the rules of grammar that make up the linguistic system of the country we live in.

In this way, both the words we utter when we speak or write, as well as those we receive in response, will be understood, digested and associated in our minds.

This is how an internal configuration is built in our brains as we go through life.

“As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house[a] to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 6 For in Scripture it says: 'See, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame.´Now to you who believe, this stone is precious. But to those who do not believe,'The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone'" 1 Peter 2:4-7

For example, there is a difference between being prudent and being sensible. A prudent person is one who speaks "with care, fairness and caution".

On the other hand, someone who happens to be wise is a person who acts "rationally, who is guided by common sense".

Now let's think for a moment about the passages in the Bible where we are taught about who represents both values.

Actually, in these particular cases, we are being shown a broader meaning of this definition.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you” - Deuteronomy 31:6

We should not be surprised at the ways we have of being able to follow or not follow Jesus as the son of God.

We will then be able to question ourselves before the Holy Spirit between differentiating between sensible and foolish people.

Those who seek to be representative as Christians, attending mass, appearing to be devoutly religious without being thought worthy of the mercy of our Heavenly Father.

Those prudent men and women, possessing a true sense of Faith, as followers of Jesus, listening to the Holy Word and putting it into practice at all times in their life's journey.

“Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position.[a] Do not be conceited.” - Romans 12:16

Do we find curious the attitude of those people who rejoice in feeling deserving of special praise for openly expressing their Faith? Are they those who wish to obtain favors in the name of God?

Surely we know someone who possesses these characteristics. They strut about and probably begin their prayers by thinking or saying aloud "I do everything you ask of me my God" "I attend Church" "I am a good believer".

In this way they think they can have a special treatment from the Heavenly Father, feeding an ego that only they will understand. We must be careful with ourselves. Both with our thoughts and with our actions above all things.
