The Fundamental Pillars of Prayer

Do you want to deepen the way you connect with your inner self?

Explore in the following article bases and guides that will help you find a unique way to connect with love.

"I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you, you have made known to us the dream of the king." Daniel 2:23

Recognizing that in prayer we can show ourselves in a unique way before the Holy Spirit is something very special. We can have God's most important virtue in our personal space, fertilizing and shaping it daily.

This attitude reflects a sum of many other virtues that the Lord gives us. His goodness is reflected in love, forgiveness, humility and the use of truth.

Let us remember that no matter how many times we have offended Him or how far we have strayed from His path, the Heavenly Father will always have a good dose of goodness to forgive us and accept us.

Begin today to put into practice a prayer routine that will help you to eradicate feelings of anger and resentment from your inner self.

"Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people. They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over." Luke 9:16-17

Another characteristic that we must exercise during prayer is perseverance.

The practice of prayer, the use of this virtue that is so difficult to achieve, is achieved through the implementation of a routine: a creation of a personal space, one's own and of connection with the Lord.

The empathy that you manage to have with yourself, and with your spiritual healing, will help you to understand your needs. Your spiritual debts can be settled with God.

Once you achieve balance and peace of mind, you will be able to forgive others and place them in the same position as yourself. You will then understand that at the end of the road we are all equal in the eyes of the Lord.

Practice humility instead of arrogance. Exercise your humility by asking others for advice and keeping in mind that there will always be something to learn from your brothers and sisters in the Faith.

"Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[a] knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!" Romans 11:33

With the Word of God, and the universal truth of His teachings, you will be able to understand the moments and learnings of your life, for only with truth will we truly triumph.

Truth, as opposed to lies, represents the light; all that is right; liberation from the chains of negative feelings that push us away from the path of the Lord.

Take the time to amend through prayer all the negative thoughts and actions that appear in your mind and heart.

"Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord." 2 Kings 20:5

If you can make decisions that align with Jesus' path of enlightenment, you will find that by forgiving those who offended you, you can achieve an emotional and spiritual balance never before perceived.

It is not an easy virtue to achieve, since it entails the difficult task of putting aside our own mistakes and desires.

Bringing a great deal of humility, remember that it is important to forget the resentment that generates the offense, but it is the first step on the road to forgiveness.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

The Lord gives us His most perfect vision, His masterpiece, by telling us to love one another as He loves us. The irrefutable proof that represents His unconditional love in laying down His own life for us, in the greatest act of love that could ever be manifested.

If we practice prayer daily, we will finally become a living example of His wise word, His acts of faith and love. Give to your environment, family, friends, companions of life who accompany you in your daily learning, an embrace and forgiveness, it will be the first step towards the healing of the heart.
