The First Step: Trust in Yourself

We must always listen to our inner voice and for that we must be connected to our spirituality in a special way. Learn in the following article how to connect with your heart in a truly unique way.

"Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life." Psalm 143:8

When we trust in the Lord we know that at the same time we are strengthening our determination and courage to face the storms that may arise along the way.

This courage with which Christ has blessed us will help us to realize all our desires.

Let us approach Him without shame or fear and make His Perfect Word a priority in our lives in order to Know His Heart, His Authority and His Mercy. Let us keep actively searching for those who need us. Whether it is a hug, financial help or simply a collective prayer chain. Let us not forget that we are instruments of healing of the Holy Spirit.

"Whoever gives heed to instruction prospers, and blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord." Proverbs 16:20

By Trusting in the Lord, we acquire the Conviction that our journey through life will be just and restorative. This Faith is constantly nourished through the conscious reading of His Word; through it, we strengthen our Confidence by removing insecurities and fear from our hearts. It is transmitted in our actions and decisions. This is when we will find in a very simple way the art of helping. To donate our time, our energy or simply to be able to understand the reality of another person.

"Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture." Psalm 37:3

We must know that Trust is one of the fundamental values that we can have.

The Lord has designated a path of Peace and Salvation for each one of us and to walk it requires Commitment and Faith. When we have a low perspective of ourselves, we begin to disbelieve everything around us.

It is as if a blindfold hovers over our eyes, preventing us from recognizing the wonderful Blessings that our Heavenly Father gives us every day.

To walk the paths of the Lord in a healthy and enthusiastic way, we must have a proper vision of ourselves. If we fall into the erroneous interpretation that we are worthless beings or that we are not worthy of the good things that God keeps for us, we will be lowering our chances of fulfilling the purposes that the Eternal One has set for our improvement.

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." 1 John 5:14

It is very easy to lose focus in these times. To face the challenges of daily life, we need to have high self-confidence and self-esteem. At the same time, to be strengthened in the face of life's challenges, we need to have Confidence in the Lord. We should not get confused and think that this confidence and esteem, which allow us to overcome obstacles in the best way, transform us into self-sufficient beings. Let us remember that we are the Creation of the Most High and that all the value and dignity we may have is a product of His Eternal Love and Perfect Mercy.
