The Fire That Restores Love

Keys to understand how to feel the fire of love in a unique way. In the following article we will seek to broaden the horizons of your heart.

"Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame." Song of Songs 8:6

In our day to day lives we might come to feel that there are many little fires burning around us, that we must attend to many different circumstances and priorities.

We often feel surrounded by different situations to solve before anything else. They are like small fires that we have to feed with firewood so that they do not die out, but we have to keep an eye on their size so that they do not become dangerous when they grow too big. And we ask ourselves, how can we make sure that everything goes well and that we are not exhausted by the effort of having to deal with so many problems?

We must not forget that we have the flame of God's love, the only flame that never goes out and that remains lit for each one of his sons and daughters in the Faith.

"See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him." 1 John 3:1

The fire of love at times becomes intense. If you find yourself in such a scenario it is time to stop, take a deep breath and propose a different way of living love in your heart.

You are responsible for keeping the fire burning, but you must think together with the Lord, a new way of functioning that does not represent too much effort for you.

May life be a daily learning, where love is a seasoning of faith and hope to overcome obstacles and learn together with the Holy Spirit. It is not a race or a competition, but rather a daily construction of respect, spiritual openness and emotional solidarity with God.

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." Mark 12:30

In order to continue on the Lord's path of light and bet on different alternatives to cultivate our love, we must attend to several tasks, innovating the way in which we relate to the Holy Spirit.

Our attitude, as well as our capacity to understand with an eye on the other person, will be the first step to understand the needs and expectations that are handled in our environment and within us.

At times what we long for and seek does not agree with what we really need. We must listen to God's call and prayerfully understand and connect deeply with our intentions and desire to better ourselves.

"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity." 1 Timothy 4:12

The diversity of sources of love in our lives is multiplying, and we feel we must respond to all of them. If we understand that the love that comes from Heavenly Father is pure, unique and will remain throughout our lives.

This is how we will understand that it is not an obligation to walk with the Lord, but that in reality, we were always carrying out and advancing in his divine plan. That plan that brings us step by step closer to a destiny of infinite love in the temple of Heaven.

A destiny that opens our eyes with blessings and miracles of Faith that help us to understand our role and fundamental role when it comes to love our neighbor and help him in everything he needs.
