The Best Ways to Fulfill Your Goals

Everything is possible if we focus on Christ. Discover these tips to achieve what you set out to do.

“Do not envy the violent and do not choose any of their ways; for the perverse are an abomination to the Lord, but the upright are in his confidence.” Proverbs 3:31-32

Set logical objectives for yourself. We all know our limits and our abilities in most situations, but there is someone who knows us better than anyone: Christ. He is the key to understanding where we must focus our energies, what battles we must fight in order to strengthen our spirit.

“For surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for your welfare and not for harm, to give you a future with hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

Get through the process. No matter what goal you have set for yourself, at these heights you must know that, if the end is something we all desire, the process is the hardest part to get through and most people abandon the fight. Seek refuge in Christ so that He may give you the strength you need in order to get through these stormy times.

“For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not first sit down and estimate the cost, to see whether he has enough to complete it?” Luke 14:28

Use your strengths. Each achievement we have been blessed with throughout our walk down His path, is one more strength we can count on; a new ability in God's service. Therefore use the power of faith to keep from abandoning the fight; the power of prayer to get out of the slump you are going through.

“Let me hear of your steadfast love in the morning, for in you I put my trust. Teach me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.” Psalms 143:8

Lean on your neighbor. Because God teaches us that sometimes it is necessary to ask for help, and we know the effort that can come from asking for help from a loved one. Nevertheless, unity makes strength, and is we can count on a loved one at our side, who better to share the load?

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and let us run with perseverance the race that is set before us,” Hebrews 12:1

Give the best of yourself. That is why it is necessary to exercise, to count on a better spiritual health and always give the best of ourselves, without worrying if the result was the same as our objective; only then will we accept the results knowing we gave it all we had.

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter Jerusalem! Lo, your king comes to you; triumphant and victorious is he, humble and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” Zechariah 9:9

Speak to Him. Remember to do it through your prayers, that intimate moment in which God manifests himself through our heart and tells us His will; where we seek refuge when our soul is turbulent, where we are at peace.
