Strength and Courage: The Pillars of Love

Find within yourself these forces of evolution and change in your life. Explore in the following article these ways to follow the path of light.

"The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." Deuteronomy 31:8

Good wood is that which in its use does not lose its shape, does not change or yield, does not break. Something similar happens with your Faith.

Just as with the wood that when turned into furniture, doors, tables, suspenders and beams that will support a roof, our spirituality, the hope with which we carry out our life, will nourish the love of the Holy Spirit.

Our closeness to the Lord, as well as the strength in which we feel his glory, will give us the fundamental basis to become a being of light. We ask ourselves then: of what wood are we made?

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Joshua 1:9

Unlike wood, which does not make decisions about itself, we humans do.

Wood does not choose the soil in which it grows, the water that waters it, the sun that illuminates it. Nor does it choose the moment when it stops growing, the way to move away from the forest and, above all, what object it will become, according to its characteristics.

But many of these important decisions are in the Lord's hands. The history of our life allows us to learn the lessons and moments that God puts in front of us. We retain the ability to choose what we become in the light of the Holy Spirit.

Ensuring that we are as noble and hopeful as the "good wood" is a daily task, which brings us closer to the Heavenly Father's reward.

"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

The good destiny of Faith and self-love does not depend on chance but on hard work and constant dedication to fertilize our heart with God.

We will not deny that a dose of chance always favors the path, but it is not the determinant, the will and strength in the achievement of our goals and accomplishments.

The Lord desires that you have the necessary courage to perform a talented and honest work with your heart and soul. The measure of success of this affirmation lies in thinking about how we will obtain what we long for.

How we work, how we pray, how we dedicate enough time and space to connect with Jesus. Then we try to think about how we relate to people in our family and social environment.

Think about what mark we will leave on those around us and those who share the same love for the Lord.

Being of "good wood" is fundamental to feel at ease with our decisions of faith.

"Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord." Psalm 31:24

Good wood remains true to its essence, it has no hidden knots that make it brittle, it does not appear to be firm when it is not. It is both strong and flexible.

Remember, your spirit must resemble this wood. Your hope and your Faith will nourish with light the moments of uncertainty on your path. Dark thoughts far from the Lord can be eradicated by focusing on God's blessings.

The most reliable way to approach the Heavenly Father will be through prayer. Growing healthy, healthy, strong and reliable takes time to walk with Jesus. Have you become "good wood"? You are on time, continue your work with the Glory of the Holy Spirit. Become strong and reliable like Jesus, get close to your family, friends. Be confident in your choices, aspire to be who you want to be with the Lord.
