Reflections on how to restore our confidence.

When we decide to walk the paths of the Lord, we understand that in reality, the ability to Restore, Heal, Forgive, Change and, mainly, achieve our objectives; comes from the Grace and Mercy of God.

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” Psalms 56:3

It is natural that in the face of daily pressures and demands we may feel uncertainty and fear.

Throughout our lives, we face traumatic situations that place us in a place of vulnerability. We have the sensation of being fragile and weak, but it is precisely in the face of this type of experience that we must recognize that we are at the right moment so that, through our unwavering faith in the Lord, we can overcome all difficulties.

This does not mean that it will be an easy or pleasant task. It is about how to position ourselves before the obstacles that keep us away from the goals we have set for ourselves. Sustained in the Glory of Christ we will go through the most complicated instances with Balance, Harmony, and, why not, with joy. The joy of knowing that we are children of God and that we can count on His Presence every day.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:3

It may happen that in the face of a difficult situation, those around us may ask themselves: How is it possible that in the face of such a problem this person remains calm and cheerful? We can answer them that it is because of the Confidence and Strength that God gives us when we approach Him when we rest our burdens in His Infinite Love when we surrender our lives to His Perfect Guidance.

The Lord calls us to be determined to accomplish what one day prevented us from advancing along the way, He calls us to fulfill the mission He has entrusted to us, He calls us, in short, to strengthen ourselves in Him.

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” 1 John 5:14

We must understand as active members of the People of God that when we offer control of our lives to the Lord, fear ceases to be an option in the face of adversity. This happens, to a great extent, because of the certainty of His Eternal Presence in our lives. Our relationship with the Highest is a personal relationship that needs no intermediaries.

This form of direct, authentic, and effective communication brings us closer to His Grace and, in unfortunate times, to His Gift of Justice and Protection. Therefore, when we are afflicted, when our self-esteem is weakened by the vicissitudes of life, let us remember that our Heavenly Father loves us and has full confidence in us.

“And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” 1 John 4:16

A fundamental part of our faith in the Lord lies in knowing that together with Him we can break down the walls that prevent us from meeting His mission for us.

The Lord is the one who values us the most and, for this reason, He has blessed us with gifts that will help us to overcome all the events that do not allow us to respond to the call of His purposes.

How can we feel defeated, how can we think that we will not be able, that we are not capable, that we will not be able? If it is precisely the Eternal who trusts in us and in our abilities.

Let us put aside the negative feelings that keep us inactive and let us develop the Gifts that the Almighty has given us to fulfill with Hope and Joy the Mission of Love that He has entrusted to us.
