"Rescue me from the mire, do not let me sink; deliver me from those who hate me, from the deep waters." Psalm 69:14

At times we face experiences that leave scars and fears ingrained in our being. Some are the consequence of situations we have lived through, while others are the result of conscious or unconscious choices. In these moments, we stray from the path of Faith, losing our way in the range of possibilities.

However, these scars can become vital lessons, bridges to a deeper connection with the Holy Spirit. The sorrows we go through are opportunities for change, paths to a more balanced journey in the presence of the Lord.

We must not discard the broken or the faults of objects or people. God teaches us to love, care, cherish and nurture. Each individual is special, with witnesses in his or her history and daily life who know him or her in unique ways.

"This poor man called, and the Lord heard him; he saved him out of all his troubles." Psalm 34:6

Loved ones, who understand us and come to us at the right time, are treasures. By intertwining our prayers with daily life, we connect with the Holy Spirit and Heavenly Father, regaining the hope necessary to cultivate divine gifts and find joy in existence.

It is crucial to understand how our surroundings influence our lives. In times of inner clarity, offering support to those in need can soothe their souls. Likewise, when we require a conversation, seeking the company of a friend, family member or confidant can be a doorway to healing, involving the Lord in this universal healing process.

Often, we do not know how or when to seek help, but it is clear that we need to ask for it, regardless of the nature of the problem or emotional conflict. Identifying the source of the discomfort is the first step to resolution. Sometimes, one must ask, "What is wrong with me?"

"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you." James 1:5

It may be a past event or a current situation that generates sadness and restlessness. Accepting that we need help and understanding who can provide a solution or a way forward is critical.

It is essential to stop in the present moment to initiate change. Nurturing Faith and not allowing negative thoughts to plunge us into loneliness is crucial. Refusing the help of loved ones and especially the Holy Spirit consumes us and deprives us of reflection, plunging us into bitterness and sadness.

Healing begins by freeing ourselves from the malicious bonds that have led us to fall. God's forgiveness is a balm for the heart. His mercy paves the way for renewal and restoration of the soul.

"For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." Proverbs 2:6

If you long for change today, you must stop at this very moment. Change is possible today and now. Stop thinking that you cannot get out of this situation.

We must not feed with negative thoughts and without keeping Faith in mind. We will not have to stay in the depths of loneliness anymore. Not accepting help from your loved ones and even less from the Holy Spirit makes you a lifeless being.

In order to heal in a unique way you have to let go of those destructive attachments that made you fall into this state of loneliness.

It may have been a past decision. It may be something you committed in your present. But if there is one thing God does, it is forgive. His mercy is the way to the salvation of your heart.
