Overcoming the Bad Company of Loneliness

When experiencing sad or troubled times, we tend to isolate ourselves by going down dark and unconstructive paths. In the following article we will look at how to let go of this bad habit and leave it behind.

"The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:9

Loneliness is as hard as bad company. Human beings need to maintain bonds of communication and affection, as well as having a unique connection with the Lord.

It is evident that we all have a need for affection, for affection, for physical contact. However, we rationalize this surrender so much, we insert so many fears, that we block our capacity to give and receive affection. We become cold in appearance. The Heavenly Father and his son Jesus have always shown us that happiness, love and the well-being of our heart can materialize with our loved ones and the people in our lives who share a destiny of faith.

"If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

It is a very positive time to receive the love of our Savior. We must keep our expectations clear and our patience will be the fumndamental pillar to be able to connect in a different way with Faith.

Loneliness will be displaced the moment we can give adequate space to the Holy Spirit in our life. Some people give up before they start: ask yourself if this is what you perceive in your life. Ask your heart if you want or are willing to risk unconditional love from our Heavenly Father.

The love of the Lord is one of the most special and healing feelings. Don't forget that it requires faith, work and perseverance..

"Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you." James 1:21

Loneliness comes from our own inner being. The valuing of Faith is definitive to concretize a deep connection of our spirituality and with Jesus. If we stray a little from the path we will feel lonely. But if we remember that in reality we will always be receiving the blessings of the Lord and the Holy Spirit, we will find ourselves in good company.

Each step, each decision made in our day to day life, sustained by God, will allow us to perceive a unique sensation. A moment of personal connection, of great confidence where we will be able to pray and place our destiny in the Lord's hands.

In this way we will be able to understand that loneliness should not only not have existed during all this time, but also that we forget that we were never alone on the road, but rather the opposite.

"Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon." Isaiah 55:7

Today you can shed those feelings of loneliness and isolation. Relax your muscles and smile at the life the Lord created for each of his sons and daughters.

Give affectionate hugs. Receive them. Connect with the people who know you best. Your loved ones really know you and want to help you. Don't push them out of your way. Take up again the Bible reading and daily prayers that will help you to feel again that unique companionship that Faith presents to us.
