From Words to Actions

May your desires, wishes and everything you dream of materialize today. Learn how to take that step now by reading the following article.

“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

Wishing peace to others means many things at the same time. It is to fulfill the first mandate of God the Father when he told us to love each other as He did, with absolute dedication without even paying attention to the past, the offenses or the sins that our brother or sister has incurred. Desiring peace is also demonstrating that Christ always gives us a second chance.

"Indeed, whoever wants to love life and enjoy happy days, let him hold back his tongue from speaking evil and his lips from uttering deceit; let him depart from evil and do good; may he seek peace and follow it. ” 1 Peter 3:10-11

Every time we wish peace to our brothers and sisters we must do it from the heart since it is there that all those things that are true are born. In this way we express our deepest wish that this peace be found by all, putting words to what our heart tries to convey.

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. Colossians 3:13

Desiring peace is also the way we have to say to our neighbor: Here I am, you have in me a brother that you can trust. All your problems will no longer be yours alone, I will help you with that burden; but you will also find in me an ear that will listen to you and a mouth that will advise you sincerely thinking about your well-being, from the love that two brothers have.

But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. James 3:17

When we wish peace to our brothers and sisters, we are also weaving a network of good feelings, with love as the main participant; as the primary engine of our life, at the same time that we conform a protection shield immune to the negative, a shield that repels everything that threatens our peace. Desiring peace at any time and anywhere is a task that we must carry out from the purity of our hearts.
