Losing the Path

At a time when the World Cup is being played and millions of people are attentive to everything that happens in this sporting event, some customs are lost. Learn how not to leave the lighting course with the following article.

It seems that this type of situation affects the normality of life in many families, which disconnects them from the Holy Spirit.

They move away from the love that is generated in the Holy Spirit. Losing direction because of the World Cup is one more excuse.

All are varied at the moment of relegating the love of our family. Sons and daughters, wife or husband, we all long to be able to share with the Lord every moment in communion.

What are we thinking that we do not contemplate as a priority the family nucleus as a source of reparation and spiritual rejoicing? We are at the time of the World Cup and it seems that there is no other concern. Everywhere there is only talk about the performances of the teams and players.

One quickly gets lost in meaningless conversations. Even your mood changes when you get home and the team lost a game or a player simply didn't perform as well as he should have.

This is one of the best examples today that should generate a deep alert in our conscience. We are vindicating a superficial and ephemeral emotion that does not connect at all with Faith and the Holy Spirit, the pillars that our family needs at all times.

"Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe." Hebrews 12:28

Depositing our Faith in the wrong place. Can we really expect and pretend that a "hero" can give us eternal joy and love?

Faith and hope are often placed in these flesh and blood sports figures, such as soccer players or the teams they represent in the World Cup.

If we follow a path enlightened by Jesus and our Heavenly Father, we will never allow fanaticism to take us to these worldly levels of emotional control. Neither will the problems caused by a soccer match emerge, since our heart is given daily in prayer to God, commending us for his plan of salvation and eternal life.

" I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers. I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better." Ephesians 1:16-17

Recapturing the objective of the Holy Spirit. It happens more often than we realize. There are certain distractions that blur the priorities of our lives as parents.

Sometimes it can be an over-occupation in our jobs and the phrase "I don't have enough time in the day" or "I'm too tired, I just got home from work", to give an answer and relegate the attention of our children.

We must remember that our children, with love and lots of energy, demand our caresses, our daily games and many times they are looking for answers that allow them to complement their learning at school, at university or in their daily development.

This is the mission that God has entrusted to us in order to transmit the values of the Holy Bible. To move forward with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit and the Faith that is cultivated in the bosom of our family.

"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." Colossians 3:15

Caring for the true value of Faith. How can we not admire the creator of the world, of life, of all that surrounds us.

What other reason can we find not to lead a life full of emotions, feelings of joy and Glory that show us the teachings mobilized by the Holy Spirit.

Our Father from the kingdom of Heaven, is the one who most desires that we can realize ourselves together with our loved ones, forming a family, settling in a home, consolidating each of our decisions reflected in certainties of Faith.

To pray with the firmness required by the soul and with the education we received from those who have longed for us to have a future of hope and glory with Jesus.

"I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips." Psalm 34:1

We must support one another. From the most adult, who with their experience can guide the youngest, who go out into the world with doubts and demands never before experienced. From the freshness and optimism of the children, who bring with their energy moments of introspection for the elders of the house.

It is these moments of intimacy with the Holy Spirit that we will remember forever and that will leave us with the most important teachings and lessons throughout our lives (and not just a simple soccer championship result).

Jesus wants us to shine in the broad sense of the word, from the heart, to arrive pure at the temple of eternal salvation.
