How to overcome adverse situations?

The first steps are the most important and the ones that will help you clear all doubts. Explore the following article and acquire unique tools for your life.

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalms 18:2

This paragraph of the Bible is extremely motivating. David, God's servant, offered this beautiful song to the Highest, recognizing that it was thanks to Him that he was able to escape from the claws of all his enemies and from Saul, who had made at least two attempts on his life.

The Psalm refers to all the vicissitudes that David had to go through and from which he was liberated by The Lord. It is a Psalm that transmits encouragement and strength for Christians who are going through a complicated time. Let us talk to our Heavenly Father in adverse times and we will receive the Blessing of His Perfect Word that will fill our Spirit with Peace.

“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” Isaiah 54:10

Isaiah 54 comes immediately after the well-known messianic chapter of the sufferings endured by Jesus in Isaiah 53. Isaiah 54 explains the victories over those sufferings and prophesies the restoration of Jerusalem under Darius. It is a Love covenant of The Lord with Israel as it is based on the eternal compassion of the Highest for His people. This verse shows us that our Heavenly Father is quick to show mercy and slow to anger.

His Goodness is Eternal and accompanies us on every step of the path that He has designed with our name, so that we may surpass ourselves in His Glory. Let us always keep in mind that He loves us deeply. He gives us the absolute confidence to face all the challenges that arise in our existence.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

This verse can be considered one of the most wonderful promises that Christ has given us: rest and relief from all our burdens. Jesus calls us to follow His steps on the path of Peace and Goodness, assuring us that the Plan that The Lord has designed for us will fit perfectly with our needs and talents. Let us turn to Christ to find true Balance and true Peace. The Lord calls us to serve with a gift of humility. That service we do with the strength that only He can give us. Facing our burdens will bring us closer to Him because, together with Him, we walk. It is a call to union among brothers. Let us reflect on our actions and let us rest our heaviest burdens with and in The Lord.

“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:6-7

As children of God, we have the joy of knowing that The Lord understands our feelings and listens to our pleas. He knows perfectly well what our worries and anxieties are and therefore knows what things give you peace and tranquility. In times of persecution, Peter writes about humility, suffering and anxiety and the possibility of depositing all our feelings in God. It is important to note the context because at the time of Peter's reflections, the situation was tense and tumultuous. Circumstances should not influence or dictate our state of mind. God tells us: Bring your pain to me and I will give you joy, Peace and Wisdom.

Let us surrender to the Lord whatever is troubling us and walk under His Eternal Guidance towards Salvation.
