How to Connect with Our Family

There are different ways to enjoy communion with our loved ones. In the following article we will be exploring different ways to move forward in a unique way.

"Do not forsake your friend or a friend of your family, and do not go to your relative’s house when disaster strikes you— better a neighbor nearby than a relative far away." Proverbs 27:10

Family is the fundamental basis for spiritual growth. It is important not to close yourself off from the love of the Lord in times of crisis. The Holy Spirit appears at any time, when you least expect it, to guide you and help you feel a special support.

Without this family nucleus, this network of support that manifests itself at certain moments, we could feel a very deep emptiness. But you are the person who makes the decisions to get closer to your loved ones. To forgive them and feel connected again and in a communion of light and love.

The great Family of the Lord will always be present for you and for your heart, you just have to understand how to open and bring your inner self closer.

"I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought." 1 Corinthians 1:10

To bloom in family and together with God produces in us joy, enthusiasm, it gives us a particular, renewed energy. Just by seeing how the flowers appear and the trees generate new buds, we can realize that everything around us is reborn, rejuvenated and renewed.

Christ's love is like that: The new that had been gestating now bursts forth with life. This is the ideal time to reach out to those you consider friends, family and loved ones you haven't seen in a long time. If you need to reach a bridge of healing and forgiveness, build it right now. Your inner peace will depend on that decision and the moment of openness you make with each of these beings of light.

"Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen." 1 John 4:20

Experience this reconnection with family will be perceived as a revival, with all your fullness. The Lord strongly longs that you can unite your will to heal that bond and that you can reformulate the current definition you possess with your loved ones.

Family relationships and bonds manifest themselves in moments and stages. Periods of calm and quiet and then resurface and strengthen in any approach.

It is evident that we cannot be far from the relationships that formed us long ago. Fathers, mothers, grandfathers, grandmothers, uncles and aunts, all those people that God crossed our paths to learn from their experiences and teachings are the people we should be most grateful to. Remembering the moments we have lived and being able to vindicate the love we have received since our beginnings makes us understand what kind of people we are.

"How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" Psalm 133:1

Seeking happiness consciously and together with the family, implies focusing on some basic pillars of the Faith. Family happiness is not synonymous with constant joy. We are far from thinking that being happy with our loved ones means always being in a good mood and with a good face. At times we have to understand that we are surrounded by different individualities and people with different capacities to understand, perceive and love others. The challenge that the Lord shows us today is to be able to accept, understand, love and balance our wills in order to be able to share and feel a common space of construction. Dialogue is the fundamental key to be able to move forward in the face of conflict and potential problems between us and those around us.

Forgiving and extending a compassionate gaze to others is the cornerstone to move forward, just as Jesus and our Heavenly Father demonstrated in his eternal Glory, we have in our hands a unique opportunity to cultivate Faith in our primary nucleus: the family.
