Getting back on track: April the month of rebirth

It is very important to listen to our inner self and connect with the Word of the Lord through prayer, Bible reading, and constant interaction with our loved ones.

The new month of April invites us to spend it in a special way. Discover now in the following article the ways to renew your spirit.

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” Ephesians 4:32

If we cannot resolve our feelings of anger and distrust in time, we will be exposed to the risk of not closing the wounds, perpetuating in a vicious circle the main cause of our pain.

Let us quickly remove anger from our lives, let us stop thinking over and over again about what and who has harmed us. By focusing all our energies on those who have hurt us, we move away from the Wisdom that the Lord gives us through His Word.

Our thoughts must rest in the Love and Mercy of God to continuously restore the Peace and Balance we so desperately need.

“For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” Matthew 6:14

Negative feelings have the capacity to arise naturally in our hearts as a response to the evil that has been inflicted on us and, for this reason, it is very difficult to eliminate them from our interior.

Sometimes we feel that we have appeased our anger, that we have overcome the challenge, and yet it resurfaces again as something we cannot control.

In the face of these circumstances, it is essential to look intentionally to the Lord, understanding that He is aware of everything that happens to us and, therefore, will give us the necessary strength to eradicate resentment and all impulses of revenge.

When we manage to transform all that negative energy into positive energy, we can act in the Grace, Love, and Mercy of God.

We will quickly find that our burdens are lightened, freeing us from the bad thoughts that keep us awake at night.

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” Colossians 3:13

The Word of God teaches us, through the Holy Scriptures, to go beyond the limits that the natural responses of our body and mind produce in us in the face of offenses received and invites us to imitate His Compassionate and Merciful Spirit.

We could say that it is one of the most difficult and complicated actions we have to face: to love the one who hurt us. But we must know that the Lord trusts so much in our potential, that He knows that we can always choose Forgiveness and Love, transforming us, in this way, into His instruments of Mercy.

“Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.” Luke 6:37

How can we not reciprocate this marvelous display of trust from our Heavenly Father?

How can we not obey His Perfect Word by working for Good and serving His purposes?

Let us keep in mind that the Highest will give us the Courage and the Will to replace anger with Compassion, hatred with Love, anguish with Calm.

God protects our hearts from feelings of revenge and blesses us with Calmness and Serenity in the face of oppression.
