Following a Pathway to the Light

We have the signs closer than we think. Find out How to spot them quickly in the following article.

"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10

The reality is that being followers of God does not exempt us from facing difficulties in life. Many people have the erroneous perception that by believing in God, everything will be easy and the answers will come quickly, freeing us from any responsibility by attributing everything to the divine will.

However, following the path that God has destined for us is not a simple task. It requires great responsibility and a firm commitment to be part of the Lord's people. When we decide to walk with God, we assume the commitment to direct ourselves towards Him in all areas of our life.

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak." Isaiah 40:28-29

This walk is similar in many ways to that of those who have chosen to follow their own paths away from God. We walk on the same earth, breathe the same air, face the same anxieties and are subject to the same pressures.

The difference is that, as we believe in the Lord, we know that He watches over us and accompanies us in every step we take, in every breath we take. No matter what our doubts or the obstacles we face, His hand protects us from all evil.

The feeling of peace in any circumstance is summed up in full trust and the development of a mature character that allows us to understand the true meaning of faith. It is not simply a matter of believing that God can act, but of being certain that he will.

By entrusting our path to the Lord, we trust that He will fulfill His purpose in us and grant the desires of our heart.

"Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always." 1 Chronicles 16:11

This is why it is crucial to exercise our faith constantly and, even more important, to put it to the test at all times and in all places. Only in this way can we be certain that we have advanced and grown in our faith in a significant way.

It is useless to boast about our faith if we do not constantly put it to the test to discover How much we have matured in it.

Just as a carpenter cannot boast about How wonderful his work is without showing evidence of it, our faith will not be of much use to us if we do not put it into practice and constantly evaluate it in order to appreciate our spiritual growth.

"But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one." 2 Thessalonians 3:3

Let us remember that it is natural to feel fear in difficult situations, and it is at such times that we may question why God allowed such a thing to happen to us. However, we can also choose to believe in His will and trust that, even if it hurts, the way the Lord is working will be for our ultimate benefit.

When reality presents itself as hard and challenging, we must cling to God all the more.

Let us not forget that His love never fails and that He is our strength in times of adversity. At such times, it is essential to remember His faithfulness and allow His love to guide and sustain us at all times.
