Family Unity in Difficult Times of Life

We must weave bonds of love and mutual respect in the difficult scenarios of our journey. Incorporate the following verses into your daily routine.

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." Romans 12:2

How long will we lament the circumstances that prevent us from moving forward and reaching our destiny in life? Must we reach deep within ourselves to finally gain the necessary momentum and make a significant leap?

The clarity that Jesus Christ demonstrated in making his divine sacrifice should serve as an example to us in all areas of our lives when we find ourselves lost or stuck. God guided him to offer us eternal life as his children.

In the midst of that whirlwind of fog called "fear," lies one of our greatest adversaries. Thoughts become clouded and our heart loses clarity about our surroundings. From our emotions to our thoughts, lack of clarity translates into inaction and emotional isolation.

"You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love." Galatians 5:13

Often, when looking for solutions, we make decisions that end up creating even bigger problems. It is easy to fall into the trap of loneliness or alcohol, turning them into smokescreens that bind us deep inside. Darkness and the temptation to go on without taking control take us to the edge of our existence.

Feeling lost is the least of our problems. We begin to hurt the people who try to help us and reject their offer of support. At times like these, we must remember that God is always present and will not abandon us.

We must learn to open up and accept help even in the most difficult moments. All the mistakes and errors we make on our path will be forgiven by our Heavenly Father.

"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love." 2 Peter 1:5-7

Let us remember that Jesus is always there, ready to be compassionate and heal our wounds. We must not pay attention to those who do not recognize his actions and miracles.

Let us not allow ourselves to be influenced by those who feel alone or who do not even know the life story of our Savior and the reason behind His sacrifice. Let us never forget that it makes no sense to continue on the path of evil, keeping ourselves in the shadows of fear and questioning. The security of certainties, of proofs of love and faith are enough to trust in the Holy Spirit and deposit our hearts.

May our faith be reflected in our actions, for it will be the foundation on which we can base all our future thoughts and decisions. Move forward and grow, make mistakes and learn from them. There is no point in remaining in perpetual uncertainty that no story can tell. Is there any learning without sacrifice and pain?

"The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children." Romans 8:16

It is time to leave fear and inaction behind, and embrace the certainty that we can overcome any obstacle with divine help. Let us remember that the path of faith will not always be easy, but with each step we take, we will be closer to our purpose and destiny in life.

Let us entrust ourselves to God and the Holy Spirit, trusting in their guidance and wisdom to move forward.

In our journey of faith, each of us has a clear and meaningful destiny that allows us to reach fulfillment. Although there may be detours and moments of disconnection, our connection with God will strengthen as we receive divine signs from our heavenly Father.

Only we will be able to discern whether we are in darkness or darkness as a result of turning away from faith, and it is our conscience that will guide us in this discernment. It is our actions that will determine the final destiny of the eternal life that awaits us at the gates of heaven.
