Emerging from the Comforts of Regret

We can choose to have a positive or negative attitude towards the situations that arise in our lives. Learn in the following article how to reconvert that transformation energy by taking a positive step in your life.

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you." John 15:16

From our first memories in life, our family, our loved ones who watched us grow up and helped us to understand everything around us, played and play an important role in the development of each person. Each new person we meet and enter into new stages of life reminds us that we are part of a world in constant movement and knowledge.

The evolutionary development of our faith and our spirituality will depend on the attitude we have towards these new challenges presented to us by the Lord.

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

Every moment of our life confronts us with different challenges, our body presents different needs at different times and in different situations.

If we manage to adopt a positive attitude towards these situations, focusing on the solution, on how to evolve our personality with God, then we will have the possibility of recognizing the love of the Holy Spirit in our hearts.

Many times we are the ones who put weight or some kind of anchor in our decisions or thoughts and even in our emotions.

Let us follow the example of the Savior, recognizing his courage and conviction above all else. Regrets will not help us, nor will they serve to move us from that "comfortable" position.

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners." Isaiah 61:1

Love for the Lord is that which one day catches us walking and wraps us kindly along the path of Faith.

It gives us no signs or respite. It comes without warning and illuminates the path to follow day by day.

To be able to understand that emotions are not watertight and can fluctuate faster than we expect, will help us to enjoy and value the blessings that have been presented to us so far in life.

We are what we are today, up to the moment. Tomorrow has not yet arrived and yesterday already remains in the past memory.

Sweep your emotions like waves in the sea, get on the spiritual rebirth that the Heavenly Father and Faith propose. A part of your being is waiting to move forward towards that eternal light of love.

"He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time." 2 Timothy 1:9

We are in an age where the constant change of technologies and processes imprints a speed to our lives, forcing us to adapt continuously.

Adapt and try to go hand in hand with the fluctuations, updating our knowledge and projects, and our daily lives.

To avoid feeling anxious about the instability that continuous change can cause us, it is good to focus on the Lord and on our own spiritual growth. Reinforcing our priorities and being clear about our values and affections that surround us, will help us to define who we are and where we want to go with the Lord.

Thoughts may change over time, but always on the solid foundation that builds and defines us as sons and daughters of the Heavenly Father. Trust in yourself and you will go as far as you set out to go with a positive and loving attitude!
