Easter Celebration

The celebration of Easter is celebrated in different parts of the world by people and families who wish to be in communion and in Peace. Learn in the following article how to get closer to your loved ones in this special celebration.

" For I have chosen him, so that he will direct his children and his household after him to keep the way of the Lord by doing what is right and just, so that the Lord will bring about for Abraham what he has promised him." Genesis 18:19

Passover is one of the most important celebrations within the way of God. It is a time of reflection and meditation, in which believers remember the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, his Son. It is a time to renew faith, strengthen family ties and celebrate life and salvation together.

Easter is also a time for family communion. In many homes, it is celebrated with a special dinner in which the joy of Jesus' resurrection is shared and the meaning of Easter is reflected upon. It is an opportunity to strengthen family bonds and to show love and affection for loved ones.

"And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the Lord’s commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?" Deuteronomy 10:12-13

At the Passover meal, the food consumed has a special symbolism. The bread and wine are the main elements, as they represent the body and blood of Christ, respectively. It is a way of remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made for humanity, and of giving thanks for the salvation he offers us all.

But family communion is not only limited to the Passover meal. It is important that during this time, families gather and share moments of prayer and reflection together. This may include reading the Bible, singing songs of praise and worship, or simply moments of silence and meditation.

"But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. My feet have closely followed his steps; I have kept to his way without turning aside. I have not departed from the commands of his lips; I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread." Job 23:10-12

Easter is also a time to remember the importance of community in life. It is a time to be united and support each other, to share the joy of Jesus' resurrection and to comfort each other in difficult times. That is why many churches organize special events during Holy Week, such as masses, processions and community gatherings.

But family and community communion is not limited to Easter alone. It is important for brothers and sisters in the Lord to maintain these bonds throughout the year, to strengthen their faith and to receive support in difficult times. This may include participation in prayer groups, community service activities or regular church attendance.

"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wickedor stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night!" Psalm 1:1-2

Easter is an opportunity to reflect on our faith, to share moments of family and community communion, and to celebrate the life and salvation offered to us by Jesus Christ. It is a time to remember God's love and mercy for us, and to renew our commitment to follow his way and to serve others.

This Easter, we invite all families to join together in communion, to strengthen their bonds and to share together the joy of Jesus' resurrection. May this celebration renew us in body and spirit, and give us the strength and wisdom to face the challenges of life with faith, hope and love. Happy Easter to all!
