Christmas is Coming: Get a Different Look at this Celebration

A special year, isn't it? It's time to start making a compilation of the best moments of our year to get to this celebration with lots of love. Browse the following article in search of answers that will illuminate this celebration of life.

"But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people." Luke 2:10

Day by day it seems that we do not have enough time. That the days go by quickly and many times without being able to enjoy a pause. That moment of connection with your being and your mind, with your heart and your spirituality.

Christmas celebrations are really about nesting and knowing the inner love of Jesus. With family, with loved ones, with the people we wish to share and be close to. Forget about the presents for a moment, imagine that moment to share in communion and remember the birth of our Savior.

"All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel." Matthew 1:22-23

Thinking about how we felt during the year's journey is a healthy exercise for our mind and our inner being. Did we learn new sensations? Which people came closer to our life and who moved away? The balance of the answers that appear in your mind to these questions will help you to really appreciate all the love you receive with the Lord.

Experiencing day by day his miracles. We must be in constant prayer, grateful for his truths and his daily enlightenment.

"But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.'" Matthew 1:20

If there are differences or distances between family beings and people we really long to have close to us, we must seek a way of dialogue. Approaching the building of bridges of healing as Jesus did during his life. Cleansing wounds and healing differences, forgiving. Receiving forgiveness. This is what we constantly seek in prayer, to feel at peace and spiritual balance.

In these differences we probably find part of our being reflected, perhaps even at some point, some part of our ego is present in the problem or the real distance. Remember that dialogue, respect and love are the fundamental pillars to advance with reconciliation.

"So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5 He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child." Luke 2:4-5

Remembering those who are no longer present at the table will also be a beautiful ceremony to incorporate into this upcoming holiday season. A prayer, a toast, a small reminder of all that we have lived and learned with that special person who now dwells in the heavenly temple with the Lord.

We are the legacy of those beings who dwell in our hearts, those who guide us and also join God to give us wisdom, patience, respect and above all love for others.

"While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them." Luke 2:6-7

Christ comes alive this Christmas in every prayer, in every son and daughter of the Lord. Take a moment during these days to prepare yourself mentally and emotionally. The Holy Spirit comes recharged with light and prosperity for every willing heart. Receive, forgive and love.
