“The mind of the wise makes their speech judicious, and adds persuasiveness to their lips.” Proverbs 16:23

Before speaking, we must pause for a moment to think about whether what we are going to say actually right or appropriate. On many occasions we say things we do not want to just because we do not take a few seconds to think about whether it will appropriate to say them or if we are just being impulsive, because we may sometimes cause harm to other people or to ourselves by doing so. Therefore remember to use your mouth wisely when expressing your thoughts in order to avoid hurting someone's feelings.

“The clever see danger and hide; but the simple go on, and suffer for it.” Proverbs 22:3

This verse tells us that we must take the right precautions at all times because temptation is always lurking in our lives or that of our loved ones. We should therefore remember that if we are worried or upset we should talk to God, we should never separate from Him, and we need to pray often for our families.

Likewise, above all else, we should be impervious to any kind of physical or emotional harm they wish to do to us, we should also identify the sins and remain on the Lord's path.

“Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools suffers harm.” Proverbs 13:20

All those around us have great influence in our lives. So, if we wish to honor God as human beings and fulfill His will, we must turn away from bad friendships and influences.

At the same time, we should try to help others find the path of salvation; We should be careful with the people we meet and consider what positive aspects they bring to our spiritual growth.

“For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37

Faith is the confidence and trust that all of God's children must possess no matter what difficulties we are facing. That is why we must keep our Faith strong and healthy, like a protective shield, and therefore we will have the certainty that with God's help everything will be possible.

Soon we will see how we may overcome those difficult circumstances that we are going through in our lives, thanks to the immense power of Faith.

“The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore.” Psalms 121:7-8

Our God is a God of love and of commitment, we can read about it in His lessons. We know that He will always guide us on the right path if we remain by His side, and as His good children we must respect His will and have confidence in Him.

God represents the refuge that shelters us through the storm and the calm it comforts us with; He is wholly generous and our Faith is witness to it.
