Overcome heartbreak: Stand Up Now

If you have been or are going through such a situation you probably know how difficult it is to overcome it. Find in the following article some tips to improve your quality of life

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Psalm 18:2

This paragraph of the Bible is extremely motivating. David, a servant of God, offered this beautiful song to the Highest, recognizing that it was thanks to Him that he was able to escape the clutches of all his enemies and Saul, who had attempted with his life on at least two occasions. It is a Psalm that transmits courage and strength for Christians who are going through a difficult time.

Let's talk to our Heavenly Father in adverse times and we will receive the Blessing of His Perfect Word that will fill our Spirit with Peace.

Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you. Isaiah 54:10

Isaiah 54 comes immediately after the well-known messianic chapter of the sufferings suffered by Jesus in Isaiah 53. Isaiah 54 explains the victories over these sufferings and prophesies the restoration of Jerusalem under Darius.

It is a covenant of Love of the Lord with Israel since it is based on the eternal compassion of the Most High for His people. This verse shows us that our Heavenly Father is quick to show Mercy and slow to anger. His Goodness is Eternal and He accompanies us in every section of the path that He has designed with our name so that we can overcome ourselves in His Glory. Let us always keep in mind that He loves us deeply. He gives us absolute confidence to face all the challenges that arise in our lives .

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

This verse can be considered as one of the most wonderful promises that Christ has given us: the rest and relief of all our burdens. Jesus calls us to follow His steps on the path of Peace and Goodness, assuring us that the Plan that the Lord has appointed us will fit perfectly with our needs and talents.

Let us go to Christ to find true Balance and authentic Peace. The Lord calls us to serve with the Gift of Humility. We do that service with the strength that only He can provide us.

Facing our burdens will bring us closer to Him because, precisely, together with Him we walk.

It is a call to the union between brothers. Let us reflect on our behavior and rest our heaviest burdens with and in the Lord .

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7

As children of God, we have the joy of being certain that the Lord understands our feelings and listens to our supplications. He knows perfectly what our worries and anguishes are and therefore he knows what things give you tranquility and Peace.

In times of persecution, Peter writes about humility, suffering and anxiety and about the possibility of depositing all our feelings in God.

It is important to highlight the context since at the time of these reflections by Peter, the situation was tense and tumultuous.

What does our Holy Father want to tell us through the testimony of Peter? That circumstance should not influence or dictate our state of mind. God tells us: Bring your pain to me and I will give you joy, Peace and Wisdom. Let us hand over to the Lord everything that is disturbing us and walk under His Eternal Guide to Salvation.
