Always Remembering Your Love

On this day we commemorate a tradition and a holiday that for many people may stir some memories. Find out why we should commemorate those souls who guided us along our path.

"Once when Jesus was praying in private and his disciples were with him, he asked them, “Who do the crowds say I am?" Luke 9:18

The day of all souls (or of all the dead), tries to remind us of the passage of those people in our lives who helped us to walk the path of the Lord. In some countries of the world (especially in Mexico), this festivity is celebrated in a very popular and massive way. Is it celebrated in your city?

In some cases the traditions are repeated in entire towns and cities. Some of them try to recreate this day with celebrations in squares and parks, with a lot of joy and allegorical costumes.

In other cases, families try to pray in their homes in peace. Perhaps to be able to give an offering and get closer to those souls who are now in the kingdom of Heaven with Jesus in a more personal and special way.

"The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father." Romans 8:15

Praying will allow us to transmit peace to our loved ones, that they may transit their eternal rest in a unique way. Remembering those teachings that guided us so well: being able to draw near with the Word of God.

With prayer and prayers, some unique people will appear in our memories. Try to get closer in a special way today then: forgiving those you really love.

Putting your faith and hope in all those souls who showed you the only truth during your life, that of our Heavenly Father.

"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it."Matthew 7:13-14

Being able to count on a large number of people whom we consider special in life, will help us to contrast the present, trying to continue the legacy of those souls, who are no longer with us today.

The most important thing is that among them there is one thing we have in common: eternal life with our Father and his son Jesus.

To feel the need to demonstrate to ourselves how strong our faith in Christ is, how solid are the steps we take on his path and, above all, how much more valuable are his words, which are reflected in my actions, will be a very special gift.

""Truly I tell you,” Jesus replied, “no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel 30 will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age: homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields—along with persecutions—and in the age to come eternal life" Mark 10:29-30

It is for this and for thousands of other reasons that today we can say that we know the reward that awaits us at the end of the journey. The total reunion with the Glory of the Lord and with all the souls that approach their destiny of Faith and love.
