Achieving Harmony at Easter

An Opportunity to Reconnect with God and your Inner Self. Explore Holy Week in a deeper and more spiritual way.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

In the whirlwind of day to day life, we often forget to stop and reflect on our lives. Holy Week presents itself as an oasis in the desert, a unique space to reconnect with our inner self and with God.

This year, Holy Week comes at a crucial time. Pandemic, war and global uncertainty have challenged us in unimaginable ways. In the midst of such turbulence, we long for answers, solutions and certainty. Yet God does not always speak aloud. At times, his silence is an invitation to introspection, deep searching and spiritual growth.

"Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God." Psalm 42:11

God's silence can be disconcerting. It makes us feel lost, alone and misunderstood. But it is in that silence that we can find the peace we long for. It is in the stillness that we can hear God's voice whispering in our hearts.

Holy Week invites us to take advantage of God's silence to grow in faith, hope and love. It is a time to reflect on our priorities, to forgive those who have hurt us, to reconcile with ourselves and with others. It is a time to strengthen our relationship with God and to rekindle our commitment to his plan of love.

"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3

Holy Week is also a time to reconnect with family, that community of faith that sustains us in difficult times. It is a time to share traditions, celebrate life and remember God's infinite love for us.

During Holy Week, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, an event that fills us with hope and reminds us that love always conquers hate, light always conquers darkness and life always conquers death.

Holy Week is not just a time to reflect and celebrate. It is a time for action. It is a time to put our faith into action and to become instruments of peace, love and justice in the world.

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us." 1 John 5:14

We must remember that sometimes when we pray, God's answer will simply be temporary silence. Although it is natural to want quick answers and easy solutions, we must be patient and trust that God has a plan for our lives and His timing is perfect.

Whenever we experience the love of Holy Week with the Lord in our lives, we must remember that it can be an opportunity to reconnect with loved ones, family, friends and girlfriends. All those brothers and sisters in the Faith who helped us to move forward.

Although we often desire quick answers, we must trust that God has a perfect plan for our lives and that His silence can be an opportunity to improve our relationship with Him and grow in faith.

We must stay united with the Lord's family who will always help us along with the glory of God and His blessings in various ways and learning.
