A Unique Call for Peace

Being able to feel that our life context is developing in a calm way will help us to focus more on our objectives.

‘“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

As human beings, we rely heavily on the bonds and people we relate to on a day-to-day basis. In fact, it is through these human relationships with family, friends, work colleagues and many people along our journey that we often build our life story.

Building empathy for these people and situations will help us to understand other realities and points of view on a particular issue or scenario. Let us open our eyes, let us allow the Holy Spirit to come in and balance our hearts and fill them with the Peace of the Lord that will help us grow and evolve emotionally.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

It will be in these small actions, decisions and sayings that we have during our days and nights that will define and serve as learning when it comes to understanding how fortunate we are in life to be close to these loved ones who help us.

The daily interpersonal relationships where this difference is most noticeable, in the attitude we have before a request for help from another, how we are ready to offer an attentive listening or extend a hand to heal another person close to us.

We may not be able to eliminate the problems that occur, but it could improve the focus or your mood when you go through this situation. The attitude that you prophesy together with God will be the key to get through it.

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." Matthew 5:9

You must release as best you can what binds you and does not allow you to grow spiritually. You know, you have already learned, which are the ways of acting in your life together with the Holy Spirit that propel you forward, and which are those that stop your flight and take you away from the Lord.

All the behaviors that generate disinterest, pessimism, lack of enthusiasm and also sadness and disappointment, are the ones that take you away from God.

The worst thing that can happen to you is to be satisfied with passing the time without anything that excites you, because it is a gradual and gradual renunciation to discover your essence and what will make you happy. Approaching the Faith, nourishing hope will gradually help you to give meaning to your life, giving you a peace and love thanks to the Lord.

"Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.´" 1 Peter 3:10-11

Try to seek the peace you need to go on your way in your loved ones. In your family group, in those people you know best and surely they will help you reconnect with the bonds of love that made you happy in the past and why not today. Also remember to agree to take risks, and to have clear objectives. The first and most important, the one you should already be thinking about, is how you want to live every hour of your present day with God.

Build a full and happy day today, being grateful for your gifts and striving in your chosen path together with the Holy Spirit. Stay away from complaining, from feeling like a victim for what you haven't achieved yet, complaining about your situation only paralyzes you and surrounds you with negativity, taking away the peace so longed for in your heart.
