There is an expression in Latin that says "Memento mori," which we can translate as "remember that you are mortal." The origin of this phrase is found in Ancient Rome. When a victorious general, after defeating the enemy army, made his triumphal entry into Rome, hearing the applause of the public, a slave was in charge of whispering this phrase in his ear over and over again to remind him that the human being has his limitations, among them, the finiteness of his life.

For this reason you must live today to the fullest, enjoy every moment, make every day an unforgettable experience with the Lord. The only one who lives eternally with Jesus in the Temple of Heaven.

"I lift up my eyes to the mountains—  where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth." Psalm 121:1-2

If we live connected to the Holy Spirit, you will realize that at the same time as you walk through a different world full of blessings, you will meet your inner and spiritual self, it will be reflected like a mirror.

But do not close yourself only in your thoughts, try also to connect with other people who are on the path of faith. Who have different optics and experiences with respect to the love they received from the Heavenly Father. We are traveling a unique path, we must never forget that. Accompanied by the Savior, and an earthly and spiritual development, on the way to the infinite glory that Jesus gave us.

"And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." 1 Corinthians 13:13

To remember that we can live every moment with greater intensity, with more dedication to Faith, valuing the Glory of God, one of the important things and that we must always keep present in our thoughts and emotions. 

Feeling the Holy Spirit close to us makes us throw ourselves with Faith along the way when moments and opportunities present themselves so that we can grow, which will give us many rewards in daily life.

You can remember that you are a human being, a divine creation of the Lord and that life is a gift to be seized day by day. We must be able to rely on that simple idea, but it is the engine of life that will help us move forward, no matter what it takes.

"But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me." Micah 7:7

Try today to deepen your connection with the Lord. Actively promote in your free moments, connecting with the Bible reading, praying, asking for divine enlightenment to continue on your path of spiritual discovery.

Faith will be our light at all times and in all places. Our Heavenly Father will always be present and attentive to our prayers.

Release that past that does not help you at all, remember it, but do not keep it in your present. Be guided by those teachings and lessons learned at the time in order to learn and be a person full of love and inner light.

Project a future with the Lord, you are one step away from achieving it.
