Being able to connect and express what we feel is part of a daily task. Know the way to rediscover your values with the following verses.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

I want to talk to you about how to pray together in our communities. Corporate prayer is a gathering of people united by a common goal, where common strength and understanding play an important role. What is important is not the number of participants, but how we interact and support each other. In this we find the key to change through Christ.

It is important to remember the real meaning of prayer. Besides being an individual or group event, the purpose is to create a direct channel of communication with God, to strengthen our relationship with Him and to develop greater trust and faith. Now let's think about the same thing but in the congregation of God's children who gather in prayer with the promise that the answers will come because God is there.

"You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you." John 15:16

As faithful sons and daughters of God, we can testify to the immediate healing power of corporate prayer. We must be convinced that it is a practice that all communities should adopt to enhance our connection and togetherness at all times, even in situations where we feel distant. Furthermore, I firmly believe that collective prayer generates a contagious and completely positive energy, which has the power to spread all that is good if we so desire.

However, it is also important to remember that no prayer is complete without sincere thanksgiving. Thanking God for all the blessings we have received throughout our lives should be the main reason for our prayer. In any case, we can ask for his holy intercession for the specific concerns we have. Let us make the effort to dedicate moments of tranquility, even for a brief moment, to express our gratitude.

"Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven." James 5:14-15

Collective prayer gives us the opportunity to unite as a community, strengthening our bonds with God and with each other. It allows us to share our joys, concerns and hopes, trusting that God hears us and will respond according to his perfect will. In times of uncertainty or difficulty, collective prayer becomes a beacon of hope, illuminating our path and reminding us that we are not alone. 

In addition, collective prayer invites us to transcend our own needs and open ourselves to the well-being and intentions of others. By uniting our hearts and voices, we create a sacred space where the strength of faith is multiplied and God's blessings are poured abundantly upon each of us.

In this regard, I invite all communities to embrace collective prayer as a central practice in their spiritual life. Let us take time to gather, pray together and build a deeper relationship with God and with each other. May our communities be a living witness to the unity and fraternal love that comes from collective prayer.

"Go back and tell Hezekiah, the ruler of my people, ‘This is what the Lord, the God of your father David, says: I have heard your prayer and seen your tears; I will heal you. On the third day from now you will go up to the temple of the Lord." 2 Kings 20:5

Finally, let us remember that prayer should not only be a time of petition, but also a space to listen to God's voice in silence and in community. Let us open our hearts to his guidance and allow his Spirit to inspire us in our daily actions and decisions.

May the Lord bless us with a strong faith and a deep connection to Him and to our brothers and sisters. May our collective prayers strengthen our faith, fill us with gratitude and move us to be instruments of his love and peace in the world.
