7 Reasons Why We Claim Faith Moves Mountains

We need only to read the Bible in order to realize that Faith moves mountains, ordinary people who did extraordinary things feeling the love of the Holy Spirit in their hearts. Learn about these wonderful affirmations in this article.

“That according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with might through his Spirit in the inner man, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.” Ephesians 3:16-17

Faith is the assurance that things happen the way you expect them to. When a person has Faith about something or someone, they do not need natural reasons or guarantees to confirm it. Someone who has Faith is trusting in God’s loyalty and faithfulness.

“ Without having seen him you love him; though you do not now see him you believe in him and rejoice with unutterable and exalted joy. As the outcome of your faith you obtain the salvation of your souls.” 1 Peter 1:8-9

We need only to read the Bible a bit in order to realize that Faith moves mountains, ordinary people who did extraordinary things just because they believe each one of God's promises. God promised more offspring than the sands in the sea and the stars of heaven to Abraham, and then gave him only one son and asked him to give it up in sacrifice, but this man still believed and was capable of sacrificing his own son because he believed that God would have a perfect plan.

“Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?' ” John 11:25-26

The whole Bible is a book of faith that narrates the adventure of many men and women who, acting in faith, did the will of God, overcoming insurmountable obstacles. When we act in faith we clearly feel that nothing is impossible for God.

“And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.” 1 Corinthians 13:2

We need to nurture our Faith, repeating and living out our hope in God every day, until our life and our future are completely in His hands. That Faith is the only remedy available for the tired and alienated people of our day.

“By faith Sarah herself received power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised.” Hebreos 11:11

Few know that fear also moves mountains. Fear and Faith are the same force. Fear is negative and Faith is positive. Fear is Faith in evil. That is, the conviction that bad things will happen. Faith is the conviction that what is going to happen is good, or that it will end well. Fear and Faith are two sides of the same coin. You have to be careful about these things.

“Looking to Jesus the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

Faith always goes hand in hand with safety and trust, it is about believing that what we desire will happen one way or another, without leaving room for doubt or uncertainty, it is to believe at all costs, even though it seems like it will never happen. And even if everyone thinks you're wrong, if you can believe then everything is possible.

“He said to them, 'Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, -Move from hence to yonder place,- and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.' ” Matthew 17:20

As long as our anchors are not completely attached to God, we will not stand firm. Only God, with His power, is capable of giving us the safety that is beyond everything and everyone.
