Biblical Examples that Show How Much God Loves Us

At times of suffering or when life puts us to the test, it seems that we lose our Faith or we believe that our Heavenly Father has forgotten us. These examples will help you understand that we will always be loved by the Lord.

1) He gave His life for us.

“ So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.” Hebrews 9:28

The greatest expression of any giving, of absolute love and trust that God the Father could have had for us.

In any verse in the Bible the love of Jesus for his children is present, despite how worthy we are of Him. Remember that the Lord tells us that the source of His love is inexhaustible and that He will always be by our side.

2) He loves us despite all our mistakes.

“O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures for ever.” Psalms 136:1

But not only does He show us His love beyond the mistakes that we commit whether intentionally or not, but He also opens His heart to us by showing us the way to redemption and how not to make those mistakes again.

So great is His love, His patience, and His mercy for us, that He only asks that our repentance be sincere and from the heart. So let us be worthy of His infinite love, having Him as a role model in moments of doubt.

3) Forgive our sins no matter how terrible they may be.

“Forbearing one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.” Colossians 3:13

Our Lord is all love and understanding, He receives us in His Glory and wants us to be able to continue on the path of the Holy Spirit.

He understands that we are human and prone to temptation, but He also knows that if our repentance is genuine, He will always give us a second chance to redeem us and to fix all the damage we may have caused. We just have to put aside our pride and arrogance so that we may recognize all our mistakes.

4) He remains beside us permanently.

“So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and He who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” 1 John 4:16

No matter what evil we have done; pushing aside who we were in those moments when we stepped away from His path.

God is always there for us and the more importantly He will remain there for us. Our duty as His children, as sheep of His beloved flock, is to open our hearts and let His light enter them, so that we may receive a shower of His eternal and divine purity.

5) He left us a compendium of love and life lessons.

“For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12

The Holy Word and the Bible are the guides that we must turn to whenever doubt takes over our hearts.

Here are all the experiences of our Lord, but, more importantly, how here is how He overcame all the obstacles with a never before seen commitment and eternal love.

6) The promise

“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him.” John 3:36

He promised us eternal life in paradise, and we know that there is no greater reward than to remain by His side for all eternity.

Being witnesses of a unique love and wisdom with which we want to nourish ourselves in paradise, surrounded by loved ones and living in perfect harmony, and enjoying the company of our beloved Father. Let's remember how much God loves us on this day.
