5 Virtues with which you will be blessed if you take refuge in God's love

Giving the other cheek, or forgiveness better depicted by the bible: But forgiveness goes even further, follow this guide to feel the love of God.

Patience

“But for that very reason I received mercy, so that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display the utmost patience, making me an example to those who would come to believe in him for eternal life.” 1 Timothy 1:16

Patience is what calms us before we act impulsively, it is the one that gives us a necessary peace so we may connect with God in our hearts. In that way we will have the patience needed in order to cultivate our Faith.

Forgiveness

“Are any among you sick? They should call for the elders of the church and have them pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up; and anyone who has committed sins will be forgiven.” James 5:14-15

Giving the other cheek, or forgiveness best depicted by the bible: But forgiveness goes even further. God teaches us that there is no sin that can not be forgiven by Him, as long as our repentance is genuine. The wonderful thing about all this is that, as the Lord urges us to imitate Him, we will spread a net of forgiveness in this world that will fill us with peace.

Confidence

“He said to them, 'Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.' ” Matthew 17:20

Confidence in Christ is essential. It is thanks to confidence that we manage to cultivate patience. Knowing that God has a plan for us motivates us to continue on His path, in addition to the obstacles that we have to go through.

Faith

“For this very reason, you must make every effort to support your faith with goodness, and goodness with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with endurance, and endurance with godliness, and godliness with mutual affection, and mutual affection with love.” 2 Peter 1:5-7

Faith is the spiritual superfood of excellence. Without Faith we will achieve nothing, and as a plant needs water daily in order to grow strong and grow roots that allow its growth, it is same way our spirit needs Faith to be able to grow and improve as children of God, and the secret is found in prayer, that intimate moment with God that will nourish our Faith accordingly.

Love

“For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

The answer must first and foremost be love. By following the Lord's example of loving as He loves us, we urge others to imitate us, generating an even closer bond with God, enjoying the mercy of the Heavenly Father.
