4 Verses About the Importance of Building Up Our Trust in the Lord

A fundamental part that we must develop in the course of our lives is to relate to others in a harmonious way.

We are beings who live in society and, in order for it to evolve in Peace and according to the teachings of the Lord, it is indispensable that we approach one another with Love and the gift of Compassion.

But it is also very true that to establish an authentic, real, and lasting relationship, we must have an important dose of Trust.

When levels of Faith and Trust are high, we can see how friendships, marriages, and even work and study goals are strengthened, function, and generate well-being.

We can assure, then, that Trust is key in our existence and brings us closer to the Grace of God.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” Proverbs 3:5-6

However, trusting in our Heavenly Father implies something more on our part because we must trust Him with all our heart, acknowledging His presence in each step we take, in each goal achieved.

It is extremely important to recognize that all our thoughts and actions are generated by the Conviction that The Highest Works through us expressing His Will in the purpose that He has destined for our lives.

God has done everything for us and when we can understand the dimension of this Blessing, we perceive that our hearts are more relieved, rested, and ready to face the challenges that life has in store for us.

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.” Psalm 56:3

Many times, and especially when we experience good times, we can fall into the error of overconfidence in our own perception or knowledge when we have to make a relevant or key decision for our future.

We are gradually losing our gift of gratitude, forgetting that the hand of the Lord is in each of our actions.

That is why it is important to be clear that before any resolution that we are willing to take, whether it is affective, familiar, or of work, we must recognize God in charge of our lives, commanding our action and purpose.

Our improvement and success lie in the way our Almighty Father uses us in every circumstance.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:3

It is absolutely normal that before the ups and downs that we must go through during our existence, we find ourselves in situations in which our wisdom and experience are required.

When facing these types of instances, it is logical that we are invaded by doubts or fear of making mistakes, and although we have the necessary elements to carry out our task satisfactorily, we can end up not feeling completely safe.

When we have the feeling of being lost, confused, pressured by the possibility of taking a wrong path, anguished by the fear of making a wrong decision; We must sustain ourselves in our Trust and Faith in the Lord, making ourselves owners of that pressure that takes away our sleep and sharing it with Him.

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” 1 John 5:14

Let us trust the Lord with all our hearts as His Perfect Guide will take us from the beginning to the end, on the path of Good. Let us remember that He knows the whole story completely, that He understands and sees what we cannot.

Let us have the Wisdom that His Word teaches us so as not to give in to our own understanding and leave our destiny in His Merciful hands.

Who better than the Lord to show us the path to follow?

Who better than Him to illuminate our lives when we cannot see the horizon clearly?

Our Trust is extremely important to our Heavenly Father. With Him in command, we have nothing to fear.
