Achieve the Perfect Prayer

Many times we do not know where to start or how to link our spiritual need with the special moment of prayer.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”. Philippians 4:6-7

Confess Tell God your deepest secrets, so that you can build a new, purer, more truth-based and spotless relationship. That is why it is important to remember the lightness of spirit that we will experience in confessing all our dark sins and thoughts, how renewed we will feel once we have nothing to contaminate us inside.

“Go back and tell Hezekiah, ruler of my people, so says the Lord, God of his ancestor David: I have heard your prayer and I have seen your tears. I will heal you, and in three days you can go up to the temple of the Lord. ” 2 Kings 20:5

Repent. Confessing our sins or all those thoughts that we find disturbing is not entirely enough: of course it is a good part of the way to go, but keep in mind that our repentance has to be genuine, since only then will we achieve the absolute forgiveness that Christ promises us. Remember that a confession without regret is like a house built on the sand.

Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people. 17 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.” Luke 9:16-17

Receive it. Once we find ourselves free from sin and experiencing a single purity of spirit, it is only at that moment that we can truly receive God in our hearts. Feeling God present in every fiber of our muscles, in every cell of our body will strengthen our Faith and strengthen our virtues.

I thank and praise you, God of my ancestors: You have given me wisdom and power, you have made known to me what we asked of you; you have made known to us the dream of the king.” Daniel 2:23

Thank you. Once we are living witnesses of the healing power of Christ Jesus, it is important to take the necessary time and observe the transformation of which we have been participants; then to be eternally grateful to the Holy Creator for all that work of good that he did in us; for having become instruments of His peace.
