4 Benefits of starting your day by meditating on the word of God

The importance of receiving the Holy Spirit in the moments of greatest difficulty will give us the opportunity to approach the Lord. This prayer will illuminate your destiny of Faith.

“Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock.” Matthew 7:24

It gives us a good dose of the healing power of love. Many times, when we feel that our inner energy is running low, taking refuge in the power of prayer strengthens our bond in the Lord and its magnificent healing power. By doing this we will feel His hand on our heart and unparalleled relief will travel throughout our body. That is why we must incorporate a prayer routine into our lives.

“But he answered, 'It is written, -Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God-.’ ” Matthew 4:4

It fills us with energy from the start. Many people, upon awakening, perform a routine of physical exercises. Just like a multivitamin shake gives us the energy to keep our body moving to do our daily activities, the word of the Lord gives us the spiritual energy that nourishes our hearts and predisposes us to a way that is more in line with the Lord's way so we can face our day. Pray every morning and reflect on a passage from the Bible to renew your spiritual energy.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1

It allows us to have that time alone between ourselves and God. Every relationship needs to be nurtured through communication, which in turn allows us to develop a feeling of love. If it is in the Lord that we trust; if it is the Lord whom we love; If His advice is the one we value the most, then we need to take the time necessary to strengthen the relationship that binds us to Him in the refuge of prayer.

“In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust without a fear. What can flesh do to me?” Psalms 56:4

It allows us to make sure that we continue to walk the path of the Lord. Overcoming the obstacles that appear on our way to the Lord often makes it difficult for us, that is why victory in all the struggles we engage in will be reflected by the confirmation that we are still traveling in the path of God, as if the Almighty's divine hand had been placed on our shoulders and we had the satisfaction of hearing Him tell us: "You are doing things right".
