Helping your community together with your family

One of the best ways to connect with the people around us is to help them. Supporting your community and being part of it is very important. Learn how to deepen your bond with it in the following article.

“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16

Being the Lord's arm and helping those who need it. Every community needs strong arms and dedicated spirits when needing help. We will always find people who, to a greater or lesser degree, need help. Maybe at the beginning we do not realize it but we must understand those who do not feel comfortable asking for help and at the first chance they get they tell us that it is not necessary to help them; but still we must always be ready to lend a hand.

“And the multitudes asked him, 'What then shall we do?' And he answered them, 'He who has two coats, let him share with him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.' ”   Luke 3:10-11

Taking the word of the Blessed Sacrament to as many people as you can. Every selfless gesture that we give to others is a new person to whom we have taken the Word of our Lord. Therefore, it will encompass an increasingly larger population, fulfilling the purpose that brings honor to us as children of God by taking His word to the whole world.

“Religion that is pure and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” James 1:27
Being a living example of what it means to be a child of God. Let us continue to accumulate virtues that make the Lord proud. And in doing so we will be a living reflection of the teachings of Jesus Christ. Let us make him proud of the children He has chosen.
