3 daily habits that you should not be missing

In small daily actions we must present ourselves before God as His enlightened faithful. You will find habits in these pages that you can include in order to be closer to the Holy Spirit.

1) Do something daily to make the Lord proud

“Hear, my son, your father’s instruction, and reject not your mother’s teaching; for they are a fair garland for your head, and pendants for your neck.” Proverbs 1:8-9

Forge that habit by helping others in order to experience the happiness of doing good.

Know that this good deed will be part of the contribution we all make in order to turn the world into a better place. Remember that unity is strength and only God has the power to unite us all in his heavenly love.

2) Communication destroys barriers

“Continue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving” Colossians 4:2

It is commonly known that good communication improves relationships, so communicate with God using the direct line of prayer.

Let us erase from our minds the image of a child praying at night kneeling at the foot of his bed, because we can and must resort to prayer at all times, in the same way that we can pick up the phone at any time and call a loved one to ask them how they are or just to express our gratitude for being part of our lives.

3) Love

“ Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12

Put into practice everything that this little word means, for it has the transforming power with which the Lord blesses us every day.

This power that heals and rejoices, that loves and forgives, and that constantly guides us towards a life closer to God. Love is the fuel that allows us to advance in the path of Christ, and he who does not sow love will never reap it.
